Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and GarlicApps (“GarlicApps”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of the TwoOne mobile application and related services (the “Service”). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy.

By creating an account, or by accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. TwoOne is intended for people looking for a serious relationship or marriage. It is not intended for casual or commercial use.

You must not use the Service if you have been banned from it, or if the law of your country prohibits it. We may ask you to confirm your age or identity at any time.

You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time passcode. You must provide accurate information, keep your account under your control, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. You may hold only one account and you are responsible for activity on it.

You agree not to: provide false or misleading information or impersonate any person; use another person’s photos or identity; harass, threaten, abuse, discriminate against or stalk other users; send unsolicited commercial messages, advertise, or solicit money, gifts or personal financial information; engage in fraud, scams or any illegal activity; post sexually explicit, violent, hateful or otherwise unlawful content; share another person’s private information without their consent; attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours, or to bypass privacy or security controls; scrape, copy or reverse-engineer the Service or use bots or automated tools; or use the Service if you are under 18 or on behalf of a minor.

You keep ownership of the content you provide, including profile information, photos and messages. You grant GarlicApps a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, display and transmit that content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service and in line with your privacy settings.

You confirm that you have the right to provide your content and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights or break the law. We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

You control how much of your identity other users can see. Photos and your legal name are revealed only as your settings and consent allow. Once you reveal information to another person, we cannot control what they do with it, so please share carefully and do not disclose personal information, such as your address or financial details, to people you have not met.

Profile share links and PDF exports are visible to anyone who has them. You are responsible for who you send them to, and you can disable or regenerate a link at any time.

Our use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, including our use of analytics and diagnostic tools to improve the Service.

You can block and report users at any time. We may review reports and take action, including removing content, restricting features, suspending or permanently banning accounts, and sharing information with authorities where required by law.

We do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee the identity, intentions or conduct of any user. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users, online and offline. If you decide to meet someone, take sensible precautions: meet in a public place, tell a friend or family member, and trust your instincts.

Compatibility scores are explanations based on the information users provide and are not a prediction or guarantee of a successful relationship or marriage. Scores are less reliable where profiles are incomplete. We do not guarantee that you will find a match.

The Service relies on third-party services, such as hosting, SMS delivery, push notifications, analytics and app stores. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

The Service, including its software, design, text, graphics, names and logos, belongs to GarlicApps or its licensors and is protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer any part of it except as the law allows.

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we may release updates that you need to install to keep using the app.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in the app settings. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we reasonably believe your use puts others or the Service at risk. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will do so.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We make no warranty about the accuracy of user-provided information or about the conduct of users.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GarlicApps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or your dealings with other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if any) and LKR 5,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights you may have, the courts of Sri Lanka have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using the Service after the change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
